Tuesday January 7

Today while eating some choclate my tooth fell out!  Then I made a funny joke.  I said it was hard chochlate and then showed them my tooth!  I am almost finished my science fair project!  I hope it is a succsess!  I hope your project is a success.

Wednesday January 8

Yesterday we had a new art teacher come in!  She said she was from Spain.  She has been here a little more the twelve years.  For a example she made a buetiful picture.  She will come every Tuesday to teach us.  And tonight Stony is letting me borrow his Transformer!  I hope you enjoyed the art lesson.

Thursday January 9

If I get a lower score on my speed test it must be signed!  But I have been practicing all night!  My mom promised to buy me a Transformer if I get better at math.  So I am practicing very hard now!  And today we got our book orders.  Speed test tomorrow.

Friday January 10

Today I am going to practice harder.  I am getting pretty good.  And I am borrowing Astro-train and I also start Macerme today.  We are learning the knots today.  It is a fun filled day!  What is practice? 

Monday January 13

Today is gym!  And the new rule is to write a page of the dictionary and don’t get gym untill you are finished!  I am glad I remembered my gym clothes!  So am I!  I only forgot once.  But that was before the new rule.   

Tuesday January 14

Today we have art.  I like art a lot.  Because I like to colour and draw a lot.  And I have to remember to bring some wood for Sister’s depoche class.  Which we have on friday.  I like the idea of new options.  We had better ones at summer scool (enrichment) I must admit!  What were they?

Wednesday January 14

This week is fit to call Transformors mania week!  Everyone is bringing Gobots or Transformers!  And I am getting a new one soon.  I like Gobots a bit better than Transformers though!  And with everyone else it is the opposite!   Have a nice day!  Thank you, Frank.

Thursday January 15

I just go the Transformer “Ravage”!  I think  I did a great trade!  I traded Buzzsaw for Ravage!  So I got a better trade than the other person.  And today I forgot my precious gym clothes!  Oh well.  Too bad!

Friday January 17

Today I get to hold Warpath, Cosmos, Gears and Cliffjumper!  I like Transformers a lot now!  And today is my little sister’s birthday!  So I can help out with the games and help myself to the cake!  I can’t wail ‘till my birthday!  How long do you have to wait?

Monday January 20

I am very exited today!  Because when I get home I will have two new Transformers at home!  The might be two out of this five:  Jazz, Ratchet, Ironhide or Thruster.  Rumble and Laserbeak come together!  Have a nice day everyone!  Did you start a sentence with because? 

Tuesday Januarary 21

Today is art.  I like art.  But something I like even more is ... Transformers!  I don’t know why I like them.  Strange Autos that transform to Robots.  They come from a planet known as Cybertron.  I like them a lot.  you should have been a “spaceman” Frank – from outer space.

Wedensday Janurary 22

Today is library.  But it will not be as fun as always.  Because Mrs. Parron is in the hospital.  And Miss Story is sick to.  So a nother art teacher is coming to teach us art!  I like school!  In some subjects!  Another art teacher.

Thursday January 23

Today I have five sponsers and read six books!  I have joined the Read-a-Thon for the last three years!  Because I love reading books!  If I read lots of books I learn lots of things!  I am sure I will join next year!  Good for you!

Friday Janurary 24

Last night I finished all three paragraphs about Marco Polo!  And I an trying to improve my letters such as J g y & p.  I think I am getting better.  And I am reading a terrific book call:  Baseball Fever.  I alike reading.  Keep trying!

Monday Janurary 27

On Saturday I went to the Ronald McDonald circus.  I had a lot of fun.  We ate hot dogs, popcorn, potato chips and drank pop.  After we watched the show I went to my friends house to sleep over.  I had load’s of fun.  My friends name is Satchmo.   We played games.  I had a fun time.  I’m glad you enjoyed it.

Today I am holding two Transformers.  Soundwave and Shrapnel.  Soundwave is a Deciptigon.  And Shrapnel is a Insectigon.  Insectigons are Decipitigons witch are enemys of the Autobots.  I like Transformers.  I am getting two new ones.  —which are enemies—

Today there is nothing worth writing about.  So I will just try to fill up eight lines of these sentences.  I am trying to make these senentces really really long.  See?  I already have eight lines.  I don’t call this journal writing.

Thursday Janurary 30

Today we have the assembly.  I do not ussally like the entertainment!  Today the same thing!  Rock music!  I hate it.  I wish we had a suggestion box in our school.  Then everyone can suggest what entertainment we want!  Tomorrow is a P.A. Day.  Why don’t you do some entertaining?

Monday Febroary 3

Today is a boring day.  All we do is the same thing.   Day in, Day out.  But something I more concerned about is Italian school.  I alread (from last week) got a toy of mine stolen and my desk messed up.  I am going to see who sits in my desk!  Perhaps if you took a little more interest in your work you would not find it so boring.  (Italian school was held in our classrooms on Saturdays and their students would screw around with our stuff.)

Tuesday Feburary 4

Today (again) we have art.  I sort of like art now.  But not as much as I used to.  We had paints, crayons, chalk and (sometimes) scetings.  but not as much as we do now.  But it is still fun to have art at all!  I’m glad you like something Frank.

Wednesday Feburary 5

Today I bought forty-two tickets for the raffle.  I think I should win.  And Lent is coming up soon.  So I should give up or do something.  I still do not know what to do.  Have a nice day.  Thank you.

Thursday Febuary 6

Soon we shall have the science fair!  I am already finished it.  I got two sponsers for fifty cents!  They are my grandma and grandpa.  But I will explain to them it is too much.  I do not think they understand how the read-a-thon works.  But maybe she does because she asked if I would read twenty books.  I had better find out if she knows.  That would be a good idea.

Friday Febuary 7

Today is the raffle and funny hat day!  Gene Spears seems to like my hat.  Every time he sees it he laughs.  but know I can’t half school this afternoon.  So there is no draw or contest.  Too bad.

Monday February 10

Today is the science fair setup.  My project is very good.  Cosmic rays put carbon in a object and then the carbon atoms can be measured for dates.  But that may not be exactly right.  Spike is coming for lunch today we will have fun.

Tuesday February 11

Today I am worried because it is the Judging for the science fair and Spike isn’t here yet.  The time is 9:00.  I just saw him now!  it is, 9:30.  I am very lucky!  I think I might win the science fair.  Not this time Frank.

Wednesday February 12

Yes, I did not win but I don’t care!  I still wonder why I didn’t.  Because Gene used a computer and Sammy had mistakes in his project.  But I am still a good sport about it.  But now, I ahave to write out February 50 times because my “r” not written right.  Before recess!  Oh well.  I will be much carful next time.  That’s good! 

Thursday February 13

I am practicing my “b” “r”’s togehter.  I just hear an anoument that tomorrow is red and white day.  And it is also Valentine’s day;  I will not give them out this year though.  Because I have none to give out this year.  The word is together.  You need to practice finger spacing too.

Friday Febrary 14

 Today is Valentines Day.  We are gong to give them out right about now.  (After we write in our Journal of course.)  I only have a Valentine present for the teacher.  I hope Sister likes it.  I couldn’t even get a cookie this morning!  Because the ran out of cookies!  They are baking some more though!  I certainly did.  Thank you Frank. 

Monday Febrary 17

On Saturday 7:00 Mass Relish dropped a candle and unforunatly broke it!  And I went to 7:00 and 11:30 Masses this week.  At 11:30 Mass the power went off!  So both Masses had a unexpected accident.  Accidents happen, even at church.

Tuesday February 18

The new rules are O.K..  But I have done some of the rules already though.  Before we got these rules.  And my pencil case is missing.  That is the second belonging of mine is missing.  I have almost earned ten dollars on the read-a-thon.  I am very proud.  Good for you!

Wednesday February 19

Yesterday I saw Mr. Brennam!  I know him from Summer School (Enrichment.)  He has the problem solving course.  It was my third course.  My home room was E2.  It was the Language Arts course room!  I liked Mr. Brennam.  But I’m not sure you spell it that way.  I was in the Newspaper, Yearbook and Orienteering, options.  I liked the Newspaper course the best.  Two more people were in Enrichment from our school.  Sally Housecoat and Nealon Whey.  Mr. Bauer had the Newspaper course.  I liked him the best.  I did a computer course (option) artical and the comics.  I remember all that it was fun!  I also had the abstract course.  While I was there I even got a role in a commercial.  I served, and got the popsicles for the last party.  We went on many trips.  One to the Roller Gardens two to the Nature Centre, three ... I forget.  But I know it was fun!  I sure had a lot to write about today.  It is Mr. Brennan.

Thursday February 20

In two days it is Spike’s birthday party.  It sounds like FUN!  But I think my party will be more FUN!  For Loot bags I substituted designing T-shirts with fabric paints.  For supper a ten foot long sandwich.  I can’t wait!  I hope he will feel better.

Friday February 21

Today is the last day to read in the MS Read-a-thon!  I have earned somewhere between 10 and 20 dollars.  Last night I went to Satcmo.  He calls me “Babooch” And I call him “Chopped Liver”.  Aren’t these weird nick-names?  Are they nice?

Monday February 24

Saturday night my whole family made gnoccis!  It was fun!  First we mixed the dough then we rolled them up!  Then we ... ATE THEM!  They were delicious!  We are going to make some more soon!  And my birthday is coming up!  I am excited!  Sounds like fun.

Tuesday February 23

I almost forgot to do my Journa!  But I just rembered.  Today I saw to movies.  One of them was called, “The Girl Who Spelled Freedom” and the other was called “Christopher Columbus!  They were both very interesting.  I hope to see them again very soon.  Christopher Columbus was returned.  When did you do this journal?

Wednesday Febuary 26

Today every thing is DUE!  My liabrary books are due, my test is due, my read-a-thon money is due!  It is hard to keep track of all these things!  I am going half crazey!  Spike said I could hold Blaster and Sammy could hold Prowl!  But he did not bring them!  I hope I hold them before tomorrow!  I will talk to him!  And on the 25 I wrote the journal right after Spelling.  During Language Arts?

Thursday February 27

I forgot my read-a-thon money today!  Oh well.  I still have this afternoon.  Unless my mother sees it on the table and brings it to Mrs. Mahar.  I sure hope she does!  Or else I shall bring it to school my self this afternoon.  I’m still waiting for it!

Monday March 3

I didn’t know my mom didn’t know to bring the read-a-thon money to Sister!  So she brought it to Mrs. Mahar!  I hope all this comes out all right!  Because I don’t want anything to come out wrong!  Everything’s fine Frank.

Tuesday March 4

Today we played law court!  It was fun!  I  was one of the lawyers.  I had to defend my clients; Lemon Aid and Banana Fray.    The wittness couldn’t make up her mind at all!  I asked each of the jurers one question...Who is innocent?  If they didn’t know, they had an open mind and became a jurer.  I won the case!  Well for one of my clients!  I hope we play again soon!  The witness couldn’t make up her mind.

Wednesday March 5

Today Blocko gave me an invatation to go to his birday party three days from now!  So it will be the third birthday party I went to in a month!  The other two were Spike’s and mine.  Well for my birthday I shouldn’t really count it!  But this month is sure crammed with parties!  I sure like parties!  And the class is trying to improve our writing .  (As you can tell!)  And soon it is the March Break!  I can’t wait.  Block gave you an invitation to his party.

Today I will give out the invititations for my party!  They are funny!  They are homemade!  I traced Pop-eye the Sailor on the front!  It was fun!  I will give them out soon.  I can’t wait.  And Toby is here!  He is cute!  Thank you.  (Toby was my teacher’s dog.)

Today is the last day of school untill March 17.  I am sort of glad.  But I will kind of miss school.  Because we always do fun things in school.  (exept math) (I better check how to spell exept)  But still I can’t wait ‘till the break starts!  except

Today is St. Patrick’s Day!  I like St. Patrick’s day.  I don’t really know that much about St. Patrick though.  So I think I will do a little research project on St. Patrick.  I certainly can’t wait to get started.  I think I will go to the liabrary first!  Go to the library first.

Today I am half finished my speech!  I am very proud.  I have a good topic.  And my speech is humourous.  I have practiced in front of my bathroom mirror.  So I have gotten used to it.  I can’t wait.  I hope I win.  Good luck!

I have to go to the library tonight for some more points for my speech.  And I have to finish my macerme toinight too.  And today the class went to the Convention Center for the System wide Science fair.  I sure have had a busy day!  How do you spell the word after macrame?

Thursday March 20

Tomorrow is a very busy day.  Because I am going to do lots of things to earn some money.  First I have my (new) paper route.  Then I clean my room.  Then I can take the dog for a walk.  But then for fun I go bowling.  I can wait!  Good! 

Friday March 21

Today I (think) it is liabrary.  I like liabrary.  I want to be a librainist when I grow up.  It would be fun.  I can catalouge books all day.  And for a break I could borrow a few favorites to read at home.  And today at 1:00 I have an Altar Boy meeting.  I can’t wait!  You might like library but you don’t know how to spell the word.

On Easter Sunday I serve.  I think I serve with the Bishop!  I don’t know.  But right after that I am going to a Easter egg hunt!  I can’t wait.  And today I have to (gulp) go to the dentist.  That I can wait for!  It is an Easter Egg hunt.

Tuesday March 25

Today I have to go to the orthodontist.  But I have to admit I am scared!  Because I have been to an orthodontist before and I do not enjoy it.  Because first their are the impressions.  Then come the braces themselves.  That I can wait for, (as usual!)  finger spaces

Today I servered.  I have not missed one Wednesday Mass during Lent.  And today was the last Lent Mass.  Easter is just around the corner too!  Which is the Ressurection of Jesus.  Easter is a very Holy day during Holy Week!  And today is Mr. Bernacki’s birthday.  Isn’t that nice?  You served.  Good for you.

Today we took class and individual photographs.  It was fun.  I got package H.  I forget what I got in that package.  And on the class pictures were nice to have too.  Because they were free! I can’t wait to get my package!  You didn’t take them, the photographer did.

Tuesday April 1

Today is April Fools Day!  And yesterday I bough Sneezing and Itching poweder.  It said on the package "harmless" .  But Sister said it was banned from the market.  So I will never buy that again.  Sister also said it has crushed glass in it.  I didn`t know that.  I``ll never even touch that stuff again!  If it said it was harmless perhaps they have changed the ingredients.

Wednesday April 2

Today is Hans Christian Anderson`s birthday!  I know half the books he wrote!  Here are just a few:  The Ugly Duckling, The Emperor`s New Clothes, Puss In Boots.  I read all of those books.  I like them alot!  And I was away the day speechs were handed out and I never found it in my desk the next day.  I am very worried!  You like them a lot.

Thursday April 3

Today I found out what elective I am in.  It is calligryfy.  I am glad I got that.  Even though it was my 4^th choice.  And then Sister made a funny "joke" about not putting in any curly Qs or anything like that.  I promise I won’t Sister!  Good for you Frank.

Friday April 4

Today Fancy brought in 5 dollars bottle money for the missions!  That is a lot of money!  But still that was very nice of her to bring in all that money!  I think I will start collecting bottle money for the mission.  I gave Fancy the bottles.

Monday April 7

Today in my journal I will talk about yesterday.  Yesterday I was at the Altar Boy Sports Programme!  But there was one disappointment.  Hardly any Altar boys came out to play.  So there was a limited supplie of games we could with such a few number of people.  I hope more people come next week.  Where is it held?

Tuesday April 8

Today Gene, Spike and I played Chinese Tag.  I like that game a lot.  Spike was it. If “it” touched you, you stood with your legs open.  So another player could crawl through your legs and free you.  I never got free!  We are going to play again at lunch time.  I can’t wait.  You’ll have to wait.

Wednesday April 9

My sister Ange (age 8) had to go to the hospital because just last night she couldn’t breath!  I am very, very sad.  I don’t know if she will make it (gulp) through.  I sure hope she does.  I love her very much.  Did you pray for her?

Thursday April 10

My Sister is better.  “Better” enough to come out of the hospital.   But she is still very sick.  So almost every night I go get books at the public liabrary and return the others.  And the hospital recommed plenty of popsicles so every night I buy her some to.  Popsicles keep the windpipe open and also keep the tempeture down.  I am glad I can help out.  It is temperature.  So am I.

Friday April 11

Every day now Mrs. Iskat  “would like to see me”!  Because of my sick sister Ange.  I (as I mentioned) go to the liabrary.  She likes books!  I get all kinds of books.  And today we have electives.  I have (as you know) calligraphy.  It is hard!  Harder than I thought.

Monday April 14

Today we had gym with Mrs. Bellisario.  It was really fun.  We played volleyball.  I have learned some good and helpful pointers about the game.  I am getting better at the game of volleyball.  I can not wait till our next lesson.

Wednesday April 16

Today I will talk about yesterday.  Yesterday I got two teeth extracted.  It hurt.  It was for my braces.  Now they will fit.  When I get them.  (Oh ???!)  Now, I am not exactly looking forward to getting them.  I am not even looking backward.  I can surely wait.  I hope!  You will have to wait, Frank.

I heard something funny.  Joan Marie said she would get an A+ just because she has a picture of Goerge Washingtons dentures.  It is for our Emivrmental Studies project.  I lauged  and laughed!  A+ for a picture of Goerge Washington’s dentures?!  Ha, Ha!  It is George

Friday April 18

Joan Marie has another funny story.  She says she lives in a haunted house (giggle) I (giggle) asked her if she tried Ghostbusters.  Ha, Ha.  Don’t you think that is hilarous?  I wonder (giggle, giggle) who the ghost is!  Maybe it is Lincon’s ghost.  (mmph!) I think it is very funny.  It is Ghostbusters.  (correcting my poor penmanship)

Monday April 21

Yesterday Mason slept over. From Saturday to Sunday.  We had lots of fun.  I hope he is allowed again someday.  And on the twentith it was my mom’s birthday.  Everyone had fun.  I got her a super gift.  I was happy.  That’s good!

Tuesday April 22

Today I have something secret to write.  Smallo, Goerge, Mason and I have discovered a “cave.’  We are going to use it for a club.  The club is called Foremen Finders.  Because Four men found it. We have competition too, Nigel’s Club.  I can’t wait ‘till our first meeting!  It sounds like fun.  The name is George

Joan Marie says she is Mr. Boogedy.  Mr. Boogedy is a dumb, scary man.  Today we went to a operata entilted Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.  It was good.  But I was a little disapointed about the price.  $2.50, and it wasn’t that good.  That paid for the bus

Thursday April 24

Officer Buckle might be here.  Of course it might be another officer.  And I was right.  It was constable Hood.  And I got 96% on a bicycle quiz.  I am an exellentent driver.  I am very proud!  Please do not start sentences with and.

Friday April 25

Today I was punished.  I (plus others) have an assighned day to hold the door for everybody.  But I deserve it.  But the grade sixes always push people in line. Especially Long Jotter.  Sammy and Mason did thier enivromental project at home as well as school.  When you told all of us not do any of the body projects at home.  I think everything today is unfair!  They did their project at home.

Monday April 28

Our club (as on pg 13) is going strong.  We have a lot of fun.  It is super.  We have lots of meetings.  On each meeting there is always something new.  I can’t wait untill the next meeting tonight.  It is sugar.  (I wrote “super” but it looked like “suger”)

Tuesday April 29

I am all mixed up.  I was sure today was the twentieth eight because Madame Bell said the Assembly was on Thursday.  But I assume that April has thirty one days instead of thirty because that is the only explanation.  Sorry, it has only 30 days.  The assembly is on the first of May.

Wednesday April 29

Today is a normal school day.  We have everything as usaul.  Accept Art.  We don’t have art on other day like Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday.  I like art.  Today we are drawing signs for the white elephant sale.  It is a lot of fun.  Except Art.

I have something to tell about.  Today is the assembly.  I can’t wait untill it starts.  The music, the quiet, the acts, the fun of the assembly really gets to me.  I just love it.  Finger Spaces
