Project Journal:  Fourth Grade

Tuesday Sept 11, 1984

Yesterday I went to the zoo.  I saw polar bears and penguins and a gorilla.  We saw monkeys, fish and musk-ox.  My favorite favourite animal was the elephants.  I like the way they waffle around.

Thursday Sept 13

Yesterday our class went to church to celebrate the Pope's coming to Canada.  Father Don talked about where the pope lived and worked on the rail road, in poland.  We also sang songs and prayed.

Monday Oct 1, 1984

On Saturday I went to the mall a had an ice-cream, and bought a binder for my sister.  I bought a grab bag inside it had: a pencil, a pen, a pencil crayon, a toy deer, and some eraysers and stickers.  And on Sunday I stayed home to watch tv.  TV

Tuesday Oct 1, 1984

One day we were reading poems and Danny said a funny one it went:  Beans, beans a bunch of beans.  The more you eat the more you toot the better you feel, the better you feel you eat beans for every meal.

Tuesday Oct 9 1984

On the weekend I went to the Rocton fair, I saw the crash-up derby their there.  On Wensday I'll see Dave Copperfield at Hamilton Place.  Hamilton fire department are giving captain Squirt coloring books.  I found a butterfly at the park.  I mounted the butterfly.  We had a celabrition a week ago.

Monday Oct 15, 1984

On the weekend I saw Dave copperfield.  I bought 2 photographs.  I got them autographed.  I also bought a card puzzle it's neat!  He had a pet duck webster, I saw Dave copperfield at Hamilton place.  He was great.  He made the stauty of liberty disapear!  Next year he'll walk thrght the great wall of china.  I loved Dave copperfield.  I hope he comes back to Hamilton soon.
