When I went to the Sherlock Holmes museum in London, I had the opportunity to have my picture taken with Watson.  It's a pretty fun thing to do.  When googling for some Sherlock images I found out that lots of people like to post the same picture on their personal sites.  Here's a selection of people who wore the deerstalker before me.
