Notes Protecting f6 and preparing c5. Playing c5 immediately is better threatening Qa5 with tactics along the long diagonal. Fighting for the centre and claiming some much needed queenside space. 8. d5. Wow! What a lovely diag formy dark B. 8...Qb6. Playing where my space is. Also puts some pressure on b2. Lots of Nxe4 tactics. 9. Qd2 protecting b2. 9...Rfe8 protecting e7 and breaking the pin on the Knight. Heading for e5. Turns out to be a waste of time. And why switch back to the K-side? Preparing f4. 12. Rb1 takes the cuffs off the Q. 13...Qc7 Makes room for b5 and picks the Q-side fight back up. White's plan on the K-side is a lot faster. Black wins a pawn. Black with the dark B and a pawn is better. Just liquidate and win. At this point I wished you could offer your opponent the opportunity to resign. "Will you take a loss?"
Since White's Rooks are disconnected Black will have no trouble neutralizing the open file in time. Finally Black develops his light B. 22. Rbe1 gunning for my weak pawn. Black's light B is covering the weak square. I'd like to trade minor pieces here leaving my dark B and a Knight for white. After my move, White thought for 40 minutes.
24. Bd1 puts pressure on e7 and e6. Bf5 to protect the weak square. I got spooked and didn't take the pawn. I didn't want to get my Queen up on White's seventh where it might be harassed by his Rooks. In the meantime he'd be able to mount an offensive down the open line. 25... Bd7 watching e6. 26... Rf8 drops a pawn. 30...Bxe8 reinforcing h5. After 47. Ne7 Black is lost.
