"1000 Blank White Cards is a card game.  You make the cards."  That's 1000 Blank White Cards in a nutshell.  You can read more about the game and see other people's cards here and here.  Tao, Freeze, Stars and I played it last night for the first time.  I was dubious at first but it ended up being one of funnest games I've ever played.  And that includes Masterpiece (but not Hungry Hungry Hippos.)  The final score from our first game was Freeze - 0, Stars - 0, Chess - 0, Tao Jones - 1 Egg. 

Tao earned it too.  The Egg changed hands many times that night.  My Oviraptor stole it, it was secured in a Theft Proof Vault, only to be made into an Omelette.  The Egg survived and I protected it with The French and the US Army who fended off Tao's attacks with the help of the Maginot Line.  Freeze brought out his Oviraptor and the inevitable Oviraptor duel followed.  It all ended with Armageddon which destroyed everything but the One True Egg.

It was obvious we had played a lot of Magic back in the day.  Concepts like the Graveyard, Interrupts, and Card Classes were understood to be part of the game.
