WTF? The 'W' is for 'Windows.'
Ah, Windows. What was Bill thinking? Rather than steal only the good bits from the Mac OS he managed to somehow steal everything and then proceed to turn it into junk. It's kind of like stealing the Mona Lisa and then having your 11 year old niece fingerpaint all over it to 'make it better.' Imagine my surprise when the Windows Scanner and Digital Camera 'Wizard' decided to tell me that it couldn't transfer pictures from my camera because the camera was 'in use.' Silly me. I had forgotten that while plugging my camera into the USB port I also continued photographing my family and friends. You plug something into a USB port on a Mac and you get an icon on the desktop. That's it. No 'transfer software' or 'transfer wizards or spinning up both my DVD and my CD drive.' It doesn't even feel the need, as Windows does, to tell me that it found a camera and it's hooking it all up for me. Hey, Windows: I DON'T CARE! JUST GET THE JOB DONE! Anyway, after a restart I get this:

So, I wasn't crazy but now Windows feels the need to tell me something else I care nothing about. Normally, I'd leave it be but I was in one of those bad moods that you just want to see get worse so I clicked 'there.'

Well, this is quite helpful actually. I'm glad that I decided to click that prompt. In the future, I'll be sure that Product 768_1 never again does what it apparently decided to do. But wait! There's yet more information!

It's all so clear to me now! Thanks Bill Gates! You rule the school!
