September 2004

2004-09-29T10:48   Something is coming.  A new article is in the works.  I just have to get a new battery for my camera.   In the meantime enjoy some fun links:  The Conference Bike.  Hamlet: The Text Adventure.  The Nintendo DS Conspiracy?  Mars orbiter spots the Spirit Rover.

2004-09-23T15:02  Looks like there will be a season after all!  G4 is going to air a complete season of NHL games.  The twist?  The games will be played on EA's hockey platform.  All 1230 games will be played complete with stats.  Apparently these EA games are so deep that the results of each game are pretty accurate predictors of actual game results.  The puck drops October 13 with Tampa Bay at Philly.

2004-09-22T18:35  Time for a good ol' fashioned link hoedown!  How rich are you?  I'm the 826,752,911 richest person in the world.   Here's a wicked archive of old Lego manuals and box covers.   Wordcount counts the words used on the WWW and ranks them according to popularity.  Also check out the Wordcount Conspiracy Corner.  I found this one:  Troll:  Discarding Coexistence.  It's refreshing to know that kids are dumb all over.  Japanese kids think that the sun goes around the earth.  This is seriously beautiful:  Mechanical Pong.  That's it for now.

2004-0915T24:00  LOCKOUT!

ROFL!

2004-09-15T8:45   Watched the game last night; couldn't really get into it because how can you get angry at the Fins?  It's like Canada vs. Canada.  It's great we won but that thing they're using for a trophy has got to go.

2004-09-14T24:07  Bleach takes a well deserved rest before heading to Germany.

2004-09-13T22:28  Was looking for this information months ago and once I found it, forgot to post it.  Read the truth about Adbusters.   Activistcash.com is a subsidiary of The Center for Consumer Freedom.  Both sites are required reading.

2004-09-13T9:38  English candy I have eaten.

2004-09-13T9:01  Bleach White Skeleton has a new entry about our national game.  I don't know how he does it.

2004-09-12T21:17  Looks like my next trip to Pennsylvania will be to tackle the 96er at Denny's Beer Barrel Pub.  Seems like every trip to the Keystone state involves me eating a large sandwich. There is a prize for finishing it in under 3 hours but no one has managed.   Freeze has vowed to be the first.  I'll update once a date is set for the challenge.  And yes, the burger is 100% real.

2004-09-12T10:16  Huge news!  Bleach White Skeleton has started blogging!  What a skeleton!  You can check it out here!

2004-09-11T24:00  September 11.

2004-09-10T10:00  Couple of updates today:  I found a lost grade four journal that I posted under Project Journal.  Also, a small monograph on New York vs. Toronto which is a waste of time for anyone except Torontonians.  Lastly, an audit of my website.

2004-09-09T11:57  What's happened to Star Wars?  The box set is coming out soon and it seems we've gone from from Han shooting first, to Greedo shooting first and now they shoot at the exact same time!  And Hayden Christensen has been digitally inserted into the final scene of ROTJ. Not to mention that Luke's wussy scream when he falls from Vader in Cloud City hasn't been removed.   Why was it ever inserted?  Oh, yeah, because Lucas has LOST IT!  Lucas, please stop messing with Star Wars!  Or at least have the decency to release a WS Original Trilogy.  Everyone, please boycott this box.  Do not be swayed by its slick packaging!

Not that it ever helps, but sign the petition at originaltrilogy.com.   Better yet, e-mail Fox Studios directly and tell them we don't want the "Special" Editions.

2004-09-07T11:42  What do you get when you search for .doc files on P2P networks?  You get Project Essay.

2004-09-07T8:14  Remember this?  And this?  Check out all the old chessthecats and bombz-aways.  You can also check out the Bombz-away beta page.  lol.

2004-09-06T13:10  New gallery up.  Ruby on vacation at Arrowhead Provincial Park.

2004-09-06T10:12  They were filming a movie on my street not too long ago.  It's set in Baghdad.  All they had to do was add palm trees.  Local residents were happy to help out by providing gun shots.  Click each picture to enlarge.
