9/28/02. If you care about your life, do *not* buy this game! If you do, prepare to kiss your family, friends, and the outdoors goodbye! It is more addictive than crack itself! All I care about now is catching bugs to sell to Tom Nook and arranging my apartment so that the Happy Room Academy gives me a good score. Starsmars moved into my town too and we're neighbours. 9/24/02. North Korea is going to build a walled off city that will be a capitalist zone so they can see what all the fuss is about. Hey North Korea, it's 2002. Communism is so 1984. What a bunch of hypocrites. We're all communist but we want some of that good stuff too.
I'm in a bit of a block right now in terms of updates so I just wanted to remind everyone that Starsmars is still updating everyday. Also Saturdays will be new chess game day for the next couple of months.

9/22/02. Round 1 is now up complete with notes and diagrams. Still working out the layout of the scorebook pages. D'oh! I just noticed that the notes don't line up with the move order because I deleted the column they were in. I'll fix that for next week.
Wow. What a surprise. Iraq stalling on it's promise to let UN weapons inspectors in? No. It can't be!

9/17/02. Bah. Today I realized that the entire graphic arts industry is using the Imperial system. Why are we sticking to a system that no one uses? Read what Gunny Bill Bitterman has to say.
Today Freeze and I got on the shuttle bus like we do every day. We both noticed tho' that it sounded funny and we could smell coolant or some shit. The other shuttle that was behind us passed us and we noticed that we were barely moving. Then smoke started pouring out of the dash. We were all choking! Hard! So we pulled off the road and had to wait there for 30 minutes or whatever. Eventually another bus picked us up. Hey Lou when I said "Fire up another bus" I didn't mean it literally you asshat!
We got a locker today too. B221. Pretty neat huh? Get it? 221B. Sweet. So we threw our set squares-- which are really big triangles--and shit in there and sat back pretty proud of ourselves. I got nothing.

9/15/02. Sorry all you bleeding hearts but the UN is behind the US! The UN is drafting a resolution that says Iraq must let weapons inspectors back in or face the "consequences." Read it and weep. In other news Bush rightly tells UN to "show some backbone."

9/13/02. New journal online. It's a short one. Just covers a few days at winter camp in grade eight.
9/12/02. Remember the Wonderwoman cartoon? Remember her "invisible jet"? If it was so invisible why could you plainly see the dotted outline of it as she flew around in it? And why could you see her sitting in the jet? If the jet was invisible wouldn't the contents of it be as well? No? Then why don't we see the fuel inside the tank floating behind her? Hmmm?
9/11/02. Chessthecat.com was closed for the entire day in remembrance of the attacks on America.
9/10/02. Well Freeze and I are knee deep in our Graphics Arts program now. Why do they call that triangle thing a "set square"? But the craziest thing is the shuttle bus. WTF? What's the point? Every morning Freeze and I get to the stop at 6:30 only to have to fight a horde of barbarians to get on the shuttle. Twenty one spots and forty kids. If you don't get on the shuttle you don't get to school. Why did I pay $185 for a pass? I can't stand the stress. Lou and his crappy shuttle! Lou, dude, how about another run my friend? Fire up bus number 2 and get us to school!
9/10/02. If you've been following the Tag-Board lately you'll know that it got extremely ugly over the last few days. I, Chess, take full responsibility and want to formally apologize to Tao Jones. Tao and Freeze are my best friends in the world and my behaviour was unfair to both of them. Tao posted an innocent comment and I took my response to an unnecessary extreme. Tao has helped me out a lot with this site as well. I just wanted to mention that. Tao, I'm sorry. Will you forgive me?
9/9/02. When Calvin's cat cam is on the pinkbutton will flash on. That is all.
Tao Jones hacked my site! At 7:28 he posted a tag using my name! I knew it was Tao because I checked the IP number against his previous posts. Well he's banned from the tag-board but knowing Tao he'll prolly strike again soon!
Okay, Calvin's catcam won't be up 24 hours a day 7 days a week. That's insane. So I created a little blinkie.. When you see this blinkie then the camera is online. Calvin won't necessarily be in his bed but the cam is on. If the blinkie gets too annoying I'll make something else but for now that's how it's going down suckas.
According to some, Chretien included, we don't have enough "proof" that Iraq has weapons of mass destruction and thus we shouldn't attack. It's the damnedest thing because seems to me that Hussein has been keeping the UN--not US mind you--weapons inspectors out for the last TEN years! His people are starving to death because of the international embargo against Iraq. If he cared at all and he was telling the truth that he has no weapons then why not let the inspectors in? If he did that the embargo would end. Besides, if he has nothing isn't this a great opportunity to catch the US with egg on their face? Imagine the headlines: UN inspectors find nothing, US apologizes, embargo ends, Iraqi people thank Hussein for ending embargo. So why doesn't Hussein do that? Hmmm. Is it because Hussein is the DEVIL? The fact he won't let inspectors in is proof enough for me. Anyone who says different is illiterate.
