2004-08-31T15:03 Lol. I
managed to give away 3 Gmail invites and ended up getting 3 more for my
troubles. Now I have 10 to give away again. This is ridiculous.
I reckon Gmail is getting ready to go public what with this wave of invites
being sent out.

2004-08-24T22:51 Who needs a
Gmail invite? I have
5 burning a hole in my inbox. Gimme a shout.
My chessthecat.com inbox is choked with spam so don't even bother e-mailing me
there. Instead email me at eisenhower[at]gmail.com. Friends get first crack.
UPDATE: Now I've got 10 invites and have only
given away one. These things are WORTHLESS now. Doesn't anyone want
damn Gmail anymore? The swaps at Gmailswap aren't even worth looking at.
I'm offering them here to friends no strings attached. Not a friend?
Link to chessthecat.com and you've got yourself an account. There's a
button down in the right hand corner. If you're a Lib, forget it. I
hate Libs. UPDATE: 2004-08-30T11:37.
I've still got invites. Shoot me a message.

Take a gander at this t-shirt I designed for Starsmars. It's aimed at the
Japanese market. Pretty slick eh?

Slashdot can suck it.
Looks like I've been banned. I've been prevented from posting for over a
week now. The moderators have also flagged my account to prevent me from
loading a new article if there are no replies yet. I guess they're trying
to prevent me from first posting which I've only done once and while logged in.
That's the frustrating part; you'd think the moderation system would be enough.
If people don't like what I have to say then mod me down and set your threshold
to +1. Seems the editors don't feel like that's enough. It's creepy.
I've e-mailed moderation twice without a response. I just want to know why
banning someone from posting while logged in is ever necessary. All in
all, banning someone just forces one to use an anonymous proxy and create
duplicate accounts. All the professional trolls manage to post regardless
of banning of their subnets and IPs. Check out
Hanna's Goblin Toys' journal for more information about this disturbing
trend. According to posters in that journal, Slashdot's editors have no
problem banning subscribers as well. My advice: don't subscribe.
Better yet, join the Jihad

As a side note, I've decided to adopt
ISO 8601.
8/10/04. Damn. Me and
Bone. We done. We done. We're officially graphic artists now.
Went to the Yankees game a little while ago. But I forgot
to take my camera. Whoops.
Installed SP2 yesterday. Don't bother. It just
screws everything up. lol. IE won't even open links anymore. I
guess that is more secure. Luckily I only use Firefox now anyway.
