Are computers here to stay?

Here's an article I wrote for the school paper in 1986.  And yes, that's Mr. Lamparski in the photo.  Check out that paperweight!  If I'm not mistaken it's a PET.

Transcript:  IS THE COMPUTER HERE TO STAY?  Here is the story of the computer program.  The students enjoy the program because its fun in learning with computers and new freinds are met.  Mr. Lamparski likes teaching the program because of the kids and the atmosphere which is a room full of computers.  Kids like computers because they do a lot for you and video games are played.  But are computers ruing our brains?  The computer answers the question while you do nothing.  Others agree about this.  Robert Arsenault thinks they are to automated and are taking over.  Computers are good to a certin point!  They are good teachers but they are not for your thinking.  But if you get a good education on computers you will be ready for the future!
